Walkawiki[edit]

Walkawiki, Inspired by Cory Doctorow's Walkaway, is an open and free wiki designed to share practical knowledge about community organization, post-capitalism, degrowth, sustainability, and climate resilience. If you have knowledge and want to share or are looking to learn more, you're in the right place.

Our goal is to spread information on how the average person can realistically implement these ideals in ways that are directly relevant to them. Realistically, the vast majority of us couldn't just drop out of society tomorrow. We believe that this can be done, but it takes years of planning and hard work. We want to provide simple, relevant, accessible info on every scale, from building your off-grid dream commune to establishing systems of mutual aid in your community, or even just remembering to take care of yourself.

Remember! A better world is possible, and we can build it!

How can I help?[edit]

Right now we're looking to expand our content.

Register an account and start writing articles. Check the RFC for pages we want to have written. Remember we're always looking for other pages to get written!

As well as this, adding yourself to the Skill Share page means we can contact you if someone needs help.
